Seven Stars Praying Mantis Worcester
Seven Stars Praying Mantis is a complete, traditional Chinese martial art. It blends long-range and short-range methods, and it includes punching, kicking, locking, throwing and acupuncture-point striking. We teach everything step by step so beginners can progress with confidence.
Our classes help students develop better posture, strength and flexibility. They also offer a practical approach to self-defense, taught in a respectful and supportive environment. Over time, many students find that Gong-Fu becomes a vehicle for personal growth. It builds confidence, self-control and a positive mindset. It also encourages good manners, patience and clear communication.
Traditional Gong-Fu emphasizes a healthy body and a clear, focused mind. Because of this, the training works on two levels: physical and mental.
Physical benefits include:
• improved fitness and stamina
• increased strength and mobility
• better balance and coordination
Mental benefits include:
• stronger discipline and focus
• increased confidence
• practical goal-setting and achievement
• emotional balance in daily life
We teach in a non-competitive, family-friendly atmosphere. As a result, the training remains suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.
